BASDA expresses concerns regarding HMRC introduction of plain paper P45's

12/02/2009HMRC's new look P45s, introduced to accompany the shift to online filing that begins in April, could confuse payroll managers and increase the potential for fraud.
Pre-printed P45s can be ordered from HMRC's Employer Orderline, but the ability to print copies on plain white paper from either HMRC Online or from payroll processing software have raised concerns that employees and managers may confuse the printouts with photocopies.
