The Chartered Institute of Marketing is offering an opportunity to BASDA to establish a membership group (or Community) which will allow us to become Affiliate Professional members of the CIM, at a reduced fee. Affiliates of the CIM benefit from both subsidised training at Moor Hall (Cookham) as well as joining in with local branch learning in either regions or sector specific activities. There are hundreds of training courses from digital marketing, strategic marketing planning to search engine optimisation, competitive intelligence and advanced sales negotiation techniques. In addition, CIM's Continuing Professional Development Programme (CPD) enables business or technical professionals to learn more about marketing as a discipline and keep themselves current with new ways of working or business thinking.We need a minimum of 20 individuals to establish this community, so expressions of interest are sought. BASDA member @UK PLC is offering a free green analysis for qualifying BASDA members, and a reduced rate for non-qualifying members. @UK has now analysed over £50billion in spend, and there is the option of a savings report, as well as the green analysis so that BASDA members can report and monitor their progress under the green charter.  The analysis process is quick and simple.  You export your spend information from your financial system and the @UK artificial intelligence system then carries out the analysis and generates the results. The accuracy depends on the quality of the data within your system, however there is no effort required apart from exporting the data files.
