Cloud Awareness SIG

The BASDA Cloud Awareness SIG Deputy Chair is David Turner, Group Marketing Director for UNIT4 (CODA). 

This Specialist Interest Group has been set up to raise the profile of business Cloud computing applications, exploring ideas around standards and best practice and producing deliverables that benefit both members, partners and end users.

Cloud Awareness SIG is currently engaging with:

Software suppliers, end users, industry experts and influencers in the Cloud computing environment.  Sift Media is one of the partners working with the SIG, including involvement in their Business Cloud Summit .

  Part of this will be to initiate a dialogue between developers, end users, and vendors.   In addition, BASDA members have collaborated to produce Cloud computing documentation to explain, to members and end users, what ‘Cloud computing’ means and gain end user feedback through a survey of delegates at the Business Cloud Summit in December in London.
