A great opportunity to hear from the UK National e-Invoicing Forum and the Crown Commercial Service on ‘How the forces for change are aligning behind e-Invoicing’ at the BASDA Summit on 17th May 2016.
There are a number of forces becoming aligned around e-Invoicing. This could result in the public sector becoming a surprising cheer-leader for progress and application vendors need to understand the impact and to be part of this ongoing digitisation.
Amabel is the Chair of the UK National e-Invoicing Forum which was set up in 2010 as a self-funded initiative of industry associations, public sector bodies and solution providers to promote e-Invoicing in the UK public and private sectors.
Amabel has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, nationally and internationally and is an eProcurement subject matter expert.
Amabel is the UK Managing Director for Basware, the global leader in purchase to pay and e-invoicing solutions and works with enterprises of all sizes around the world
Stephen has worked in the civil service for over 30 years in a wide range of roles including front line customer service and Whitehall policy roles. For five years he led the mystery shopper procurement complaints service which deals with concerns raised about public sector procurement processes and practices.
Last year Stephen moved to head up the Crown Commercial Service’s work on prompt payment. The team leads on a number of policy strands, including prompt payment terms in public contracts, the reporting of payment performance by government bodies and the extended use of e invoicing, with a focus on ensuring that prompt payment flows to SMEs.
