Software Security Code of Practice
BASDA members recognise the fundamental importance of secure use of software. They demonstrate their commitment to this, by adhering to BASDA's Software Security Code of Practice.
BASDA's Software Security Code of Practice outlines both software design principles and recommended usage of software principles. It highlights that secure use of software can be facilitated by software design, but that it is also critically dependent on the way the software is implemented and used.
Signatories to the Code are asked to self-certify that they will follow its guidelines, that they will review and renew their commitment on a two-yearly basis, and that they will remain BASDA members during the period of their self-certification. BASDA retains the right to monitor breaches of the CoP, and to seek resolution of any digressions identified. Signatories to date include: Contact info@basda.org to apply for certification today.
