What was the reason for joining BASDA?
Nxsys joined BASDA to become part of a collaborative community that is shaping the future of business software. As a payroll technology provider, we value the opportunity to engage with industry experts, contribute to discussions around legislation and best practice, and ensure our platform continues to evolve alongside the changing needs of employers, employees and payroll professionals.
What value do you hope BASDA will bring to your business?
We see BASDA as an opportunity to collaborate with like-minded software businesses, stay informed about legislative and regulatory developments, and contribute to industry conversations. We also value the opportunity to build relationships, share knowledge and ensure our products continue to support customers with secure, compliant and forward-thinking payroll solutions.
Are there any particular topics that BASDA is championing that you are particularly interested in and why?
Payroll, pensions and employment compliance are naturally key areas of interest for us, particularly as legislation continues to evolve across the UK. We’re also interested in cyber security, AI and automation, and the wider digital transformation of business software. These developments will play an increasingly important role in helping organisations improve efficiency while maintaining compliance and protecting sensitive employee data.
What are the current challenges within your industry and can BASDA help your company as the voice of industry?
The payroll industry continues to face increasing legislative complexity, changing employment models, growing cybersecurity expectations and rising customer demands for automation and real-time information. As the voice of the software industry, BASDA plays an important role in representing members’ interests, encouraging collaboration and helping software providers prepare for regulatory and technological change.
