November 2025.

What was the reason for joining BASDA?

To collaborate with like-minded organisations, contribute to industry-wide standards, and gain a stronger collective voice in shaping policy and best practice. BASDA membership offers opportunities to influence change, share expertise, and stay ahead of evolving regulatory and technological developments.

What value do you hope BASDA will bring to your business?

We hope BASDA will provide networking opportunities, advocacy on key industry issues, and access to insights that strengthen our strategic direction. By engaging with peers and policymakers, we aim to enhance our credibility, ensure compliance, and accelerate innovation for our clients.

What are the current challenges within your industry and can BASDA help your company as the voice of industry?

Of increasing concern are the compressed timescales between specifications and guidance being made available to software developers and go-live of new requirements.   We hope that BASDA can help amplify these concerns and put a unified voice behind them, making sure they reach the ear of policymakers, and promote standards that support sustainable innovation.

Can you offer any advice to BASDA members?

Embrace collaboration – the strength of BASDA lies in shared knowledge and collective advocacy.
