The platform simplifies financial management, supports Making Tax Digital (MTD) compliance, and helps users manage records, expenses, and tax obligations efficiently and affordably.

What was the reason for joining BASDA?

We joined BASDA to align Taxara with the UK’s leading community of business software developers, strengthen our credibility as an MTD-ready accounting platform, and stay closely connected to industry standards, regulatory developments, and best practices within the UK software and fintech ecosystem.

 

What value do you hope BASDA will bring to your business?

We hope BASDA will provide industry insight, regulatory guidance, and valuable networking opportunities, enabling collaboration with other software providers and stakeholders, supporting product innovation, compliance, and the continued growth of Taxara within the UK market.

 

What are the current challenges within your industry and can BASDA help your company as the voice of industry?

 Key challenges include rapid regulatory change, increasing compliance complexity for small businesses, data security expectations, and the need for better integration across financial systems. We hope BASDA can continue to represent the industry by engaging with regulators, shaping standards, and ensuring the voice of software providers is heard.

 

Can you offer any advice to BASDA members?

 Stay close to your users, build compliance into products from the outset, and collaborate openly across the ecosystem. Industry challenges are best addressed collectively through shared insight, responsible innovation, and constructive engagement with regulators.
